Pakistan ministers seen sharing stage with LeT leaders at public rally, India slams global hypocrisy

Pakistan’s repeated denials of terror links were shattered once again as several senior ministers and lawmakers were seen sharing a stage with designated Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) terrorists during a public rally in Kasur, Punjab on May 29. The event, held to mark Youm-e-Takbeer, was organised by the Pakistan Markazi Muslim League (PMML) and witnessed the presence of individuals listed among the world’s most wanted.

Among those present were Punjab Assembly Speaker Malik Muhammad Ahmad Khan and Food Minister Malik Rasheed Ahmad Khan. They were seen interacting with LeT commanders Talha Saeed (son of Hafiz Saeed), Amir Hamza, and Saifullah Kasuri—the alleged mastermind of the April 22 Pahalgam attack in Jammu and Kashmir, which killed 26 people.

In a viral video from the rally, Saifullah Kasuri openly boasted, “India labelled me the mastermind of the Pahalgam terror attack while I was busy at events here... Now the whole world knows me.” LeT co-founder Amir Hamza was also heard raising incendiary slogans claiming Kashmir and Indian Punjab as part of Pakistan and Khalistan.

While Pakistan continues to deny sheltering terror groups, India’s multi-party delegations have launched a global diplomatic campaign post-Operation Sindoor. From Panama to Saudi Arabia, India has shown images of Pakistani officials attending funerals of terrorists and accused Islamabad of nurturing a growing nexus between its political system, ISI, and terror outfits.
